Mallory Pearce graduated cum laude from Barry University School of Law with her Juris Doctor in May 2012. While in law school she was a member of the ABA Law Student Division and served as the 5th Circuit Lt. Governor of VITA from 2011 to 2012. At Barry University she voluntarily served the local community in the VITA program for two years. She also served Barry University as the Vice President of the VITA program from 2011 to 2012. She was a member of the Earth Jurisprudence and Environmental Justice Journal from 2010-2012 which culminated her becoming the Notes and Comments Editor from 2011 to 2012. As a Certified Legal Intern she worked for Barry’s Children and Families Clinic in the fall of 2011. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in September 2012 and the Georgia Bar in 2015.
Prior to law school, Mallory attended Southeastern University in Lakeland Florida. She graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. While at Southeastern she received various honors which include Collegiate All American, Who’s Who Award, Alpha Chi, Dean’s List 2005-2008, and Most Outstanding Criminal Justice Graduate. She also served in various student groups.
After being admitted to the Florida Bar, Mallory worked as a misdemeanor prosecutor in Brevard County Florida. In that position she received valuable experience in drafting and arguing motions, handling large caseloads, and participated in various trials gaining invaluable courtroom experience. She joined the local Inns of Court and participated in group educational activities.
In 2014 she became a mother and as a result she left the State Attorney’s office to pursue an area of law that would allow her more flexibility and more time with her family. She transitioned her practice of law from criminal to civil and has worked as an advisor and aid to multimillion dollar companies, small businesses, churches and families in her area of influence since her admittance to the Georgia Bar in 2015.
